Edit Music?
Introduction
Perhaps
you want to edit a podcast or conference call or a song you've just
recorded. Well then I highly recommend using My Sound Editor
Free Edition. It is the visual multifunctional digital
audio editing software for Windows. With a given
audio data, it can perform many different editing operations such
as Cut, Copy, Paste, Trim, Delete, etc.
Step 1. Input an Audio File
Launch
My Sound Editor Free Edition. Click "Open" to activate
a browser window, in which you can select an audio file
from your computer. Then, click "Open" to input
it to the program.

Step 2. Create a Selection
Select the part of the waveform you want to edit.
There are 4 ways to create a selection: click anywhere
of the waveform as a starting point and use hotkey like Shift+Home,
Shift+End or Ctrl+A to select from start/end or all; click the left
button and drag along with the waveform to the place you want to
select; specify the beginner & end of the session by moving
the sliders below the waveform window; input the start, end or length
of time to choose specified region.

Step 3. Edit Selected Region
Now click
"Edit" tab to edit the selection
by clicking the buttons of cut, copy, paste, crop, delete
and more. You can use unlimited Undo & Redo
to restore some wrong operations made during the editing.

Step 4. Save the Changes
After
all the editing is finished, go back to the "Home"
tab and you can save the file by clicking the "Save".
Save File: to save the changes to the original
file.
Save File As: the file that has been edited can
be saved with a different file name and/or location.
Save Selection As: to save just the highlighted
selection to a file.
